MANUAL Installation

To install this plugin, follow this procedure:
  • 1Go to Help > Install New Software. Enter or paste https://www.oxygenxml.com/InstData/AI-Positron/Eclipse/site.xml.
  • 2Select the Oxygen AI Positron plugin and follow the instructions to install the plugin. You will be required to accept the End-User License Agreement terms.
  • 3Restart Eclipse to complete the installation.

Uninstalling the Eclipse plugin

To uninstall the plugin, go to the main menu: Help > About, select Oxygen AI Positron, and press Uninstall button.

ZIP DISTRIBUTION INSTALLATION

To install this plugin, follow this procedure:
  • 1 Download Oxygen AI Positron for Eclipse
  • 2Once the archive is downloaded, extract its contents into the dropins subfolder located in your Eclipse installation directory.Tip: To prevent errors caused by long file paths during extraction, we recommend using the 7-Zip tool.
  • 3Restart Eclipse to complete the installation.

Prerequisite: To use this plugin, make sure you have Oxygen XML Editor, Author, or Developer installed with Eclipse plugin support.

Uninstalling the Eclipse plugin

To uninstall the plugin, simply delete the folder named com.oxygenxml.ai.positron.* from the dropins subfolder within your Eclipse installation directory.
