Re: Adding copyright towards the end of the main/landing page

Hi, Yes, like the parameter's description also reads: Specifies either an XHTML fragment or the path to an XHTML file. The XHTML content will be included at the end of the html 'body' element in all generated WebHelp pages. The WebHelp Responsive output itself is an HTML output, so, yes, will be dis...

Re: for empty page layout

Hi, It's not so clear what exactly do you want to achieve. I mean, I could not understand very well, how would you like to have an empty page forced on the right side (odd), while your chapters always start also on odd page. It would be best if you could send on our official support email (support@o...

Re: Spaceing and Alignment for Step tag

Hello, We are not aware of any issues in what it takes the alignment / line height. As this could be probably caused by a wrong selector, that does not match the correct element, or by a selector that has a higher specificity than the ones you are using (there are rules coming also from the built-in...

Re: How to reset chapter number for the first topic?

Hello, If you are using shallow numbering, you should try: *[class ~= "map/map"] { counter-reset: chapter 3 toc-chapter 3 figcount 0 tablecount 0 } *[class ~= "topic/topic"][is-chapter]:not([is-part]):not([is-index]){ counter-increment:chapter toc-chapter; counter-reset: section1...

Re: Fatal error returned on DITA Map PDF - based on HTML5 & CSS

No, it's the console log. If you run the transformation scenario from inside one of the oXygen GUI products (Editor/Author), you obtain the transformation error log also in oXygen, in a dedicated view at the bottom. Otherwise, if you run the transformation from command line, you should have the log ...

Re: Resetting the Figure Numbering

Hello, There is no sub-chapter level numbering that you could use by default in oXygen / Chemistry. The only available options are the ones mentioned in the Numbering Types section from the User-Guide . However, most probably you could perform your own CSS customization to obtain that. As a starting...

Re: Empty Page Layout

Hi, This is not an oXygen XML issue, but a CSS customization. However, you could try to set an outputclass attribute (say "blankPageAfter") on the topicref after you need the blank-page (with "Intentionally left blank" text) , then use something like: *[class ~= "blankPageAf...

Hello,

Please send us the full transformation log on our official support email address (support@oxygenxml.com).
Also, make sure that you run the scenario on a DITA Map, not on a CSS / XML file.

Indeed, it is not possible to remove the number in the TOC, in the version 21. I've already logged this in our internal issue tracking system so our development team will implement an improvement in the next version of oXygen. If that's urgent and if you are interested to test the latest version of ...

Re: The first page of document (not frontmatter) - different background

Hi Dmitry, In this case, you could use another selector that matches the number before the chapter title. In such cases, when you need to debug your CSS customization, you should use your internet browser's inspector to analyze the intermediary merged.html file and identify the rules that are applie...

Hi Dmitry, Actually they do work together, otherwise you either wouldn't have the page displayed before the Table Of Contents or wouldn't have the specific background set only for that first page. It is only the selector you are trying to use is not the correct one. More specific, among other defaul...

In addition to what Dan already suggested (setting the -oxy-page-group: auto), if you do not need all the topics in your publication to be continuous (if you need to remove the page breaks only for some specific chapters) you should also use the "outputclass" attribute. More specific, in t...

Hi Dmitry,

It is possible to set multiple values for an attribute, separating the values with the whitespace character.
In your case, you could have multiple outputclass values, like:

Code: Select all

outputclass="firstChapter before-toc"

Hi Chris, You could remove the Index references (from TOC/content/bookmarks), by using a CSS customization, like: *[class~="indexlist"]{ display: none; } *[class~="index/groups"]{ display: none; counter-reset: none; bookmark-level: 0; } This way you would remove only the Index, w...
