Re: Using ${answer} with xpath_eval

Hello Joey,

Unfortunately there seems to be a bug in oXygen when using ${xpath_eval} in templates. I created a new issue on our side (EXM-42892 - for reference purposes), and we will update this thread when a fix will be available.

Re: Autocorrect not Working for New Items Added to List

Hello,

I just tried your scenario on a 17.1, and it worked perfectly for me. Please make sure you edit the right table (for the right language). So, if you have xml:lang=en_GB, you should edit the English (United Kingdom) table, not English (generic).

Re: Bookmap Template with Standard Topics

Did you create your own custom editor variable? It seems so to me... One more thing: after a discussion with a colleague I reached the conclusion that keeping the legal document relative to the framework is a bad idea, because your project is independent to oXygen. You should probably keep it either...

Re: Bookmap Template with Standard Topics

Hello, In oXygen we have what we call "editor variables" (see https://www.oxygenxml.com/doc/versions/20.1/ug-editor/topics/editor-variables.html). What you can do, for example, is to store your legal document in a special folder inside the framework, and then refer it from the template. Fo...

Me and one colleague of mine tried to reproduce this on our PCs, but we didn't manage to do it... If you can find a way to recreate the problem at least from time to time, please share it with us. :)

Re: Tooltips never disappear

Hello,

Could you please tell me what kind of tooltips don't disappear? Is it the ones shown when placing the caret inside an element, the ones shown when the content completion assistant is invoked (by pressing Enter), or some other ones?

Re: Word counts including draft-comment

Oh, yes, I can confirm this improvement has been made starting with oXygen 18. If writing code sounds like an acceptable idea, you could develop your own custom Author operation (https://www.oxygenxml.com/doc/versions/17.1/ug-editor/#tasks/addCustomActionHowTo.html) or maybe create an Author action ...

Re: Word counts including draft-comment

Hello, You can go to the Styles toolbar button, open the drop down menu, and select + Hide draft comments . Then the action will only count the words of the remaining text. And, as a general rule, you can always add some alternate styles to hide every element that bothers you. You can read more abou...

Re: Search for un-referenced items

Hi Paul,

:(. I am sorry to hear that... Loosing your content had to be frustrating... I don't know why this happened. Maybe the forum has some kind of timeout mechanism.

If you can find some time to briefly explain your use case again, I would definitely try to help you.

Hello, In the DITA Maps Manager (DMM) we have a toolbar action called "Validate and Check for Completeness" (see https://www.oxygenxml.com/doc/versions/20.1/ug-editor/topics/dita-map-validate.html). The dialog displayed by the action has a variety of options that can be configured before r...

Hmmm... I saw you error complains about a key names "map", while the name you set is "Map Name". Do you have any other key defined, which has the "NAME" argument set to "map"? If not, you should do that. If changing the name from "Map Name" to "...

Re: Xml Editor 8.0... orderedlist continuation=continues not working

Hi,

The issue in oXygen's Author page has to do with the CSS used to render the XML. The fact that the HTML output looks good means that the stylesheets used for the transformation take "continuation" into account well.

Re: unresolved key reference message: Could not find definition for key "map" keys are provided by: ABC Root Map

Hello Balaji,

You must also set the name of the key:

Code: Select all

keyDefInfo.setProperty(KeyDefinitionInfo.NAME, "map");

Hello Anne, You don't need to perform any special integration between oXygen and SourceTree to do version control for your content. Hello Hugo, You could pack and install your plugin as an add-on (see https://www.oxygenxml.com/doc/versions/18.0/ug-editor/topics/packing-and-deploying-addons.html for packing; you can skip the signing part for testing) and then, every time you build your plugin, just increase the version in the des...

Re: Possible to customize the warning messages in Oxygen?

Hi Charles, If writing some Java code is an option, you could create a plugin that makes the files from the special domain read-only, and also set a reason why the document is like that. For detecting if the current file is "special" and making it read-only, you can do something like this:...

Hello Eddie,

In 20.1, if you go to the Styles button from the Author toolbar, do you, by any chance, have the "+ Hide prolog" item selected? If yes, try deselecting it.
