Oxygen provides a quick way to locate and open files from the project or from the current DITA Map, based on an index of the project file paths and DITA map references. This action is available as part of the File menu.
Filtering Support in the Outline View [read more...]
You can control which elements are displayed in the Outline view by entering element names in the filter box at the top of the view. If you type a text fragment in the filter box, the view only displays the relevant components. In the following image, the element name figure is entered in the filter box, thus all elements corresponding to that name are displayed in the Outline view. For more advanced filtering, you can use wildcard characters (*,?) and separate multiple patterns with commas.

The Outline view displays XML validation errors and warnings by marking elements that have problems with a red or yellow icon. Additional details in regards to an error is displayed in a tooltip, as illustrated in the following image.

Oxygen offers generic conditional text support for any XML documentation framework (including DITA and DocBook). All you need to do is define the profiling attributes and their corresponding profiling values in the Profiling/Conditional Text preferences page. To help keep all the topic references consistent when working with large DITA maps, Oxygen provides validation and completeness checking for the entire topic hierarchy of the DITA map. This action is available from the DITA Maps Manager toolbar and from the contextual menu.
