Version 23.1.1 of Oxygen XML Web Author is the latest maintenance release for the industry-leading web-based XML authoring tool. The main focus for this release was to improve the very popular Concurrent Editing feature that was introduced in the most recent major release and we are very happy to announce that the feature in no longer in the BETA stage. Numerous bug fixes and security improvements were also implemented for this release.

The ever popular new Concurrent Editing feature has progressed through the BETA testing stages and is now a fully implemented and permanent part of Oxygen XML Web Author. User feedback has been very helpful in our quest to make as many improvements as possible to prepare the feature for production.

Customize the Authoring Experience During Concurrent Editing Sessions

A new sync.api.ConcurrentEditingManagerEventType.ROOM_CREATED event is now triggered when a Concurrent Editing Session is created. Integrators can use it to customize the UI or the state of certain functionality when concurrent editing is triggered.

Apache Tomcat 9.0.45

Updated the Apache Tomcat distributed with the installation kits to version 9.0.45.
