Problem when sorting a list
Hi everyone,
I am trying to sort an unordered list inside a table cell, but nothing happens.
Is this on purpose, or could I be doing something wrong?
Thank you for your help
Susanne

Question about initial view
Hi,
Is it possible to customize the view that is used when a PDF document is opened (that is, the layout and magnification settings that are available in the "Initial View" tab of the "Document Properties" dialog box in Adobe Acrobat)?
Kind regards
Susanne

The new font definition (and the installation of a more recent Oxygen patch) fixed the problem.

Re: Problem with bold text
Hi Julien, I am using Oxygen 24.1. As a font, I was first trying to use Euclid Circular A because this matches our corporate branding, and I used the Oxygen Styles Basket to upload the font files and to create the configuration. I then tried to use Google Manrope, with the same result. Kind regards ...

Hi everyone, we are currently using an external DITA OT and RenderX XEP to create PDF files from DITA maps and WebHelp Responsive Output for online help. Re: Adjusting the text in the header section of WebHelp Responsive output
Hi Costin,
it appears that I wasn't precise enough. I don't want to change the topic title, but the publication title that is displayed above the menu.(see screenshot).
Does this also require XSL?
Kind regards
Susanne

Adjusting the text in the header section of WebHelp Responsive output
Hi, I need to write additional information into the title of the WebHelp Responsive output. From what I have seen, the software uses the mainbooktitle of a bookmap and the title of a map by default. I would need to add some static text plus the booktitlealt in case of a bookmap and the value of thec...

Re: German tag names in English user interface
Hi Radu, Yes, setting the locale is required for spell-checking and we always did that in our files. However, in oXygen 17.1 which is still installed on my machine, the tag names were still untranslated/English even though "de-DE" was set. Now it is a mixture of translated and untranslated...

German tag names in English user interface
Hi, I'm using Oxygen 20.1 on a German operating system, but the user interface language is set to English. However, when I create DITA documents, the tag names are displayed in German in the Author mode. For example, the "shortdesc" element is labelled "Kurzbeschreibung". I belie...

Sorting tables (and probably also lists) with referenced content
I have a bunch of tables that should be sorted. Some table rows are included via conrefs. These rows are not considered properly -- their content starts with A, but the remain at the bottom of the list. Is there a way to fix this?

Dear Costin,
yes, there are relationship tables.
However, I couldn't find an entry that would explain this behavior to me.
The files are on their way.
Thank you
Susanne

WebHelp Responsive navigation links for last topic in map
Hi everyone, for some reason, the very last topic in my output still contains two navigation links (previous and next). The next button leads to a seemingly random topic in the first third of the help output. I've searched my project for the file name of that random topic, and I can't find a relatio...

Schematron test does not work as expected
I am trying to set up some Schematron tests for our DITA documentation, and I am new to Schematron. I want the validation to report an error for draft-comment elements whose translation attribute has not been explicitly set to no. This is my pattern: <pattern id="not_excluded_from_translation&q...

Re: Mapping of ditaval files and bookmaps
Hi Radu, thanks for the warning - no ditavalref for now. I Believe that the root map feature would not help in our case - we would just swap one thing to remember against another. However, there might be one exception: What would happen if the root map is always set to <Current map>? As for the plug...

Mapping of ditaval files and bookmaps

Bookmaps are incorrectly numbered in PDF output, how can I debug this?
Hi, I am trying to create PDF output with topic numbers, and the PDF bookmarks are still incorrectly numbered if a bookmap contains parts. Re: DITA transformation to CHM fails because of strange path issues
Hi Radu, I noticed conversion problems for the first time a couple of months ago. Not with a CHM conversion, but with a PDF conversion that still worked fine a few days earlier. There were no intentional changes to the external DITA OT folder or to the Oxygen catalog at that time - I was only workin...

CHM conversion issue because of indexterm
Hi, I am trying to migrate some transformation scenarios from DITA OT 1.7 to DITA OT 2.*. The PDF conversion is working, but the CHM conversion doesn't. I have a huge bookmap that can be converted to PDF and to Webhelp und to CHM using DITA OT 1.7 and our custom adjustments. However, both the intern...

Re: DITA transformation to CHM fails because of strange path issues
For reasons I cannot understand, this problem seems to be caused by the DOCTYPE declaration. This DOCTYPE declaration causes a problem (though it is perfectly valid IMO): <!DOCTYPE concept PUBLIC "-//OASIS//DTD DITA 1.1 Concept//EN" "http://docs.oasis-open.org/dita/v1.1/OS/dtd/concept...

Behavior of "Find/Replace in Files"
I often use "Find/Replace in Files" with the scope "Current DITA map hierarchy". However, I am often not too happy with the results. We use conrefs from a file that is not added as a topicref to the DITA map. Unfortunately, oXygen never finds the search text in the conref file. I...

Re: Sort function for DITA maps
Hi Radu,
my idea was to select the parent topic, but it might actually be better (more flexible) to select the siblings.
I've prepared two sample maps (German and English version) and will now send them to support.
Thank you very much for your help
