Re: Allow administrators to delete tasks
Hi Cristian, I absolutely agree with your second point. Re. the first point: The finalized review task that I have on my list is one that was used for testing - and now it's in there, forever. And I really don't need it in there. So that's one of the reasons I would like an admin to be able to delet...

Re: Allow administrators to delete tasks
Hi Cristian,
Counter-question: Do you see any reason to keep every finalized review task in your list, especially when it's two years old and you no longer need it, but can't delete it because the owner no longer exists?
Kind regards,
Christina

Re: Validation of Related Links with Profiling Attributes to Topics with Other Profiling Attributes
Hi Radu, Thanks for your quick reply. I've had a try together with my colleague who has the issue and we found that I need to rephrase my example: As seen from my technical perspective: We have topic X with profiling attributes productA and productB. Topic X contains a related link to topic Y with p...

Validation of Related Links with Profiling Attributes to Topics with Other Profiling Attributes
Hi, At the moment, the following option in the Validate and Check for Completeness dialog really helps identifying the conflicts between parent and child elements with profiling attributes: Identify possible conflicts in profile attribute values in DITA. Would it be possible to add a similar but mor...

Custom Term List not honoured?
Hi, I have created a custom term list (en_US_customname.tdi) that I have put in a different location than the default Oxygen one in the Users folder - which should be possible from what I've read in the documentation, but maybe I've misread it twice. If I use the "Learn Word" function in O...

Order of switching between editor tabs
Hi, I am not sure if I understood the general preferences setting "Order of switching between editor tabs". In the documentation, it says: Order of switching between editor tabs This option specifies the order for switching between open file tabs when using Ctrl + Tab (Command + Tab on mac...

Re: "Export DITA Map" function without filtering option
One thing I do not understand about these cases is that usually the translated DITA XML content stays in a separate folder let's say named "fr" or "de" located next to the original "en" folder containing the DITA XML in English for example. And these folders ideally wo...

Re: "Export DITA Map" function without filtering option
Hi Christina, Note that some operations do consider what content is hidden by exclusion. For example, if Show Excluded Content is unchecked and you run a refactoring operation on the "Current DITA map scope", then any topic files hidden by the profiling conditions are excluded from the re...

Re: "Export DITA Map" function without filtering option
Yes, all of those filter options won't make a difference, because they just make things visible or not (although I think that all of this is really helpful nonetheless). We make use of all of these options including the profiling condition sets.

"Export DITA Map" function without filtering option
Hi everyone, The "Export DITA Map" function is a really great feature that allows you to export all referenced files of a root DITA map. Unfortunately, it does not allow you to filter, i.e. if you want to export only those files that are related to one product only, you cannot do this. Sin...

Re: Custom framework with Oxygen 25 not working in Content Fusion
Hi Michael, I didn't make any groundbreaking changes to the framework apart from the typical changes like adding, changing, and removing files that have been added, changed, or removed in the Oxygen DITA framework files. I usually diff the files, so that we only take over relevant changes. The only c...

Custom framework with Oxygen 25 not working in Content Fusion
Hi,
I have recently updated our custom framework to Oxygen 25. Could it be that this is not yet working with Content Fusion 5?
Our framework for 24.1 works nicely.
Best,
Christina

Re: Show unhandled profiling attributes (DOTJ031I) in "Transformation problems" summary
Hi Radu and Chris, @Radu Thanks for explaining what happens with the profiling settings in Oxygen. I could imagine that solving this by ignoring global exlude actions could work. I don't think we should turn off DITA OT info messages though. Some messages could still have use for us. I will just tel...

Re: Show unhandled profiling attributes (DOTJ031I) in "Transformation problems" summary
Hi Radu, Sorry if I need to bring this topic up again, but why does this info message also appear if in Oxygen, we use the profiling settings instead of a DITAVAL file (For automatic builds, we use the ditaval files)? In the profiling settings, there is no explicit "exclude" option that I ...

Allow administrators to delete tasks
Hi, As administrator of Content Fusion I couldn't find any option to delete tasks owned by users. One of my colleagues has left the company, and some finalized review tasks owned by that person had not been deleted. Since I'm not the owner of these tasks, I have no access to the task deletion option...

Re: Line breaks and empty spaces added when merging
Hi Gabriel, First of all: it turned out that we had been looking at the wrong server. We had evaluated Content Fusion several years ago, and that setup still existed :D . Now that we have checked the correct server, everything's fine. The options.xml file and the folder are where they should be. We ...

Re: Line breaks and empty spaces added when merging
Hi Gabriel,
I've run the commands. For the first two commands, nothing seems to happen.
For the second commands, "-- No entries --" was returned.
It seems the configuration has been set up using Ubuntu.
I will contact my colleague who set this up to have a look.
Best,
Christina

Line breaks and empty spaces added when merging
Hi, we're usually working without line breaks in our DITA Topics, because this can cause issues in our translation tool. We therefore have used the following setting in the Oxygen XML preferences: Editor > XML> Elements Spacing and added "menucascade" to the Mixed Content tab. However, now...

Update topic while in review
Hi, we're currently evaluating Content Fusion. If you've sent a file to Content Fusion for review, and during review you make changes to that file in Oxygen, is there a way that this file can be updated from within Oxygen? Or does an author have to make that change in Content Fusion to avoid conflic...

DITA Reusable Components view - Media tab: Insert image with parent fig element?
Hi,
It would be helpful if images could also be inserted together with parent <fig> elements. At the moment, only <image> and <xref> can be selected.
Or is there a way that we could make this option available ourselves?
Thanks and best regards,
Christina
