Translate plugin error in Oxygen XML Editor when selecting longer text

Hi,

I’ve run into an issue while using the translate plugin in Oxygen XML Editor. When I highlight a longer section of text (more than just a short paragraph) and right-click to select “translate,” I receive an error message saying: “could not open browser.”

However, if I try the same action with a shorter sentence or small chunk of text, it seems to work without any problems.

Does this mean the plugin has some limitation on text length, or could this be related to a browser/configuration issue on my side?

Has anyone else experienced this or found a workaround?

I'm afraid we do not have plans to invest much time in it.

We worked on using a combination of Fluenta add-on to convert the DITA to xliff, AI Positron and AI Translator add-on to translate an entire project using AI:

or for smaller jobs use the AI Positron add-on, select the text and tell the AI in the chat to translate it to a certain language or use the predefined Translation AI actions from the AI Positron add-on's Actions drop down menu.
