Creating a Review Task

Introductory information about creating a review task and choosing the task type that matches your content and workflow.

Oxygen Content Fusion supports two types of review tasks: Project Review Tasks and Independent Review Tasks.

Choose the task type based on where the content is managed and how you plan to handle the review results.

Project Review Tasks are for content that is already managed in an Oxygen Content Fusion project. They support a project-based workflow that includes integrating accepted changes back into the project.
Independent Review Tasks are for content that is not tied to a project. They are useful when you want to review standalone content or start a review outside a project workflow.

Only users with the Author platform user role can create Project Review Tasks. Any user with either the Author platform user role or Subject-Matter Expert platform user role can create Independent Review Tasks.
