Creating an Independent Review Task

How to create a review task from the browser interface, add or upload files, and then continue with sharing and task setup.

Users with the Subject-Matter Expert platform user role and users with the Author platform user role can create an Independent Review Task in the Oxygen Content Fusion browser interface.

After you create the task, you can create new files in it or upload files to it.

To create a review task and add files:

  1. On the My Review Tasks page, click New Task.
  2. Enter a title for the task, and optionally a description, then click Create.
  3. Add files to the task. To create a file, click New File, select a template, enter a title, and click OK. To upload a file, click Upload and select the file from your system.
  4. Open the new file in the Visual Editor page if it is not already open, and make your desired changes.
    Tip:
    As a task owner, you can always control the Toggle Change Tracking toolbar option. You may want to turn change tracking off when you add initial content to a new file.
  5. Optional: In the left-side pane, click Settings to open Task Settings, where you can configure the task options.
  6. When the task is ready, share the task with reviewers.
