0:00:04Oxygen XML Web Author 28 introduces an exciting
new feature to utilize AI assistance when creating
0:00:10a new document. Notice that in the file creation
wizard, there's a new AI prompt field. This field
0:00:17can be used to provide instructions to help the AI
create a new document with pre-populated content.
0:00:23Files can even be attached to efficiently
provide more details. To demonstrate this,
0:00:28our use case is that we need to document a new
options page that was added in a product's UI.
0:00:34We have a screenshot of the new options page
and we also have an existing data topic that
0:00:39has a style and structure similar to what we want
for our new document. So in the AI prompt field,
0:00:46we'll give instructions to document the
options found in our screenshot. And we'll
0:00:51attach the image file using drag and drop.
Note that you could also copy and paste.
0:00:56Then we'll add an instruction to use a similar
style and structure as our data topic. And we'll
0:01:02attach the data file. We'll click create. And
after the processing finishes, you can see that
0:01:10the AI successfully created a document with good
structure and a lot of pre-populated content. And
0:01:16while it will be necessary to thoroughly review
all the generated content to fix inaccuracies,
0:01:21the AI was very accurate with the option names
and other details from the screenshot. So,
0:01:26it's quite evident that this will save a lot of
time and effort in our document creation process.
