0:00:04Oxygen XML Editor 28 introduces an exciting new
feature to utilize AI assistance when creating
0:00:11a new document for those who have installed
the Oxygen AI positron add-on. Notice that
0:00:16in the file creation wizard, there's a new
AI prompt field. This prompt can be used to
0:00:21provide instructions to help the AI create
the new document with pre-populated content.
0:00:27Files can even be attached to efficiently provide
more details. To demonstrate this, our use case
0:00:32is that we need to document a new options
page that was added in a product's UI. First,
0:00:38we'll attach some files. We have a screenshot of
the new options page, and we have an existing data
0:00:45topic that has a style and structure similar
to what we want for our new document. Notice
0:00:50that our attachments are shown to the right
of the attach button. In the AI prompt field,
0:00:56we'll give instructions to document the options in
our screenshot. And notice that we can reference
0:01:01an attached file using the at@ symbol. And we'll
attach an instruction to use similar style and
0:01:07structure as our data topic. We'll click
create. And after the processing finishes,
0:01:14the AI successfully created a document with a
good structure and pre-populated content. And
0:01:20while it will be necessary to thoroughly review
all the generated content to fix inaccuracies,
0:01:25the AI was very accurate with the option names
and other details from the screenshot. So it's
0:01:30quite evident that this will save a lot of time
and effort in the document creation process.
