Re: localizing "With Frames" in webhelp_topic.js
Until the release of Oxygen version 17.0 which will be in less than a month and which will fix this language problem of the labels, I suggest as workaround to set the args.default.language parameter of the WebHelp transformation to the language of your WebHelp pages.

Re: DocBook output broken in Linux environment
Hi, Can you confirm that you don't get the same broken features when running the DocBook PDF conversion on the same input XML document on a Windows 7 machine, and with exactly the same parameters of the conversion? If yes, please check in what JRE version number the customer is running Oxygen on the...

Re: localizing "With Frames" in webhelp_topic.js
The labels in the header area of the page (i.e. do not come from a specific DITA topic file) like the ones for the links With frames and Print this page depend on the @xml:lang attribute set on the root element of the DITA map/bookmap file. So if the @xml:lang attribute is properly set also in the D...

Hi, What Oxygen version do you use? Did you look at these details about error code DOTX067E ? They include the cause of the error and the solution. Re: Extract all the possible xpaths from a schema
Hi, There is no automatic way or special action for that in the Oxygen application. I suppose you can get a list of XPath expressions of all the possible XML elements and attributes in a two step process like the following: generate one complete XML document from the XSD schema using the action from...

Re: Multiple images for WebHelp ToC topics?
Yes, that is the code, but currently it attaches the same icon to all types of topic references in the ToC tree. You have to add a marker to distinguish between the references to PDF files, Word files, Excel files, etc. You do that for example by adding in your DITA map a different outputclass value...

Re: Can't create docbook 5 target.db file
I'm trying to create a target.db file and the transformation fails with the message: E[Saxon6.5.5] target.db (Access is denied) This error seems to come from trying to write the target.db file to the Program Files sub-directory where the Oxygen app is installed, which is of course forbidden without...

Hi,
I think you can find one of the best explanations in this DITA PDF cutomization book. Failing that, I suppose the many DITA-OT experts that follow the dita-users mailing list can give you a detailed example.

Re: tool to remove complex types to xs:string?
I think the best way to convert the large XML file to another XML file with a flat structure (only a simple sequence of XML elements instead of a more complex tree-like structure) is with an XSLT stylesheet. Are you asking if the Oxygen application offers an option that can automatically or visually...

Re: Naming DITA topics for Webhelp output
Hello, By default (no modified parameter , no customization) the DITA WebHelp transformation keeps the file names, which means the output XHTML files will have the same name as the input DITA XML files, and only the file extension will be changed from .dita (or .xml) to .html. If you want to have all the ditamaps (help plugins) visible at the same time in the Eclipse help system then I suppose different (independent) ditavals are applied to different ditamaps. Looking at that issue though, this actually was implemented (to an extent...) in the DITA-OT2.0. I just tried this out, and the html5 transformation will indeed pass the attribute through (to data-audience="[val]"). I think the current webhelp is based on the xhtml plugin, so I would imag...

Re: Allow profiling attributes to pass through to HTML.
According to the DITA 1.2 standard , a user should be able to use the action="passthrough" attribute in a ditaval file to filter the content in *and* keep the attribute value. So this sounds like a feature the DITA-OT and Oxygen should support. Am I miss-understanding the standard (or the...
