Re: Getting child links to appear on parent pages?
Do you mean the list of links to the child topics that appears in the page with the content of the parent topic, after the content of the parent topic? There is no parameter for that. The list of links to the child topics should appear bby default and it can't be disabled with a parameter int eh tra...

Hello, I suggest to generate a mapping file in your application that maps the IDs to file names, like: 1001 file1.html 1002 file2.html 1003 file2.html#marker1 You can create also a new file called index.htm or index_custom.html that is located in the same directory as index.html and includes JavaScr...

Hi,
Your request is not clear. Do you want to change the marker for list items of an unordered list from the default character, which is a bullet, to a different character? Where do you want to change it: in Oxygen Author editing mode, in PDF output, in XHTML output, etc?
Regards,
Sorin

Hi, Did you look at the layout masters created in the file OXYGEN_INSTALL_DIR\frameworks\dita\DITA-OT\plugins\org.dita.pdf2\cfg\fo\layout-masters.xsl ? Maybe you can customize one of these layout masters for forcing a topic included on the first level in the DITA map to start on an odd page. I think...

Re: How to call webhelp for CSH
Hello, You have to provide the path to the Webhelp page relative to the output base directory ( file:///C:/Users/joe/path/webhelp in your case) as an anchor that follows the index.html file name. The relative path of the Webhelp page is necessary for loading it in the right-side frame of the browser...

Re: Dividing parts of a footer with a horizontal rule
Hello, I think adding one or maybe two new variables like the existing ones called 'Body odd footer' and 'Body even footer' , which you already found in the common/vars/en.xml file, should work. You should insert the content of a variable in the footer of the document as the content of the 'Body odd...

Re: Creating a text reference to figures
That is correct, in the Webhelp output there is no label like Figure [x] preceding the figure title, and a link to the figure does not include any figure label. In Webhelp as in all other XHTML-based formats generated from DITA XML sources the text of the link is simply the text between the link tag...

There is an example in the User Manual for adding an image on a page of the PDF output. I think you should follow a similar process for adding a background image on a page.

It's closer to the mark but you did not check the value of the parameter in the XSL file. You are just receiving the parameter args.watermark in the Ant build.xml file but you are not receiving it and handling it in the XSL file. First you should change the parameter in the Ant file to: <param name=...

Re: Override Smart Paste for DITA?
Hi,
You can modify the DITA elements that are created by the Paste action in a DITA topic in the file:
OXYGEN_INSTALL_DIR\frameworks\dita\resources\xhtml2dita.xsl
You can insert a <p> element in every place where a <li> element is created in the above XSLT file.
Regards,
Sorin
