Re: 9.3 Crashes on OS X 10.5.7
Quit the Oxygen application, do a Cmd-click on the Oxygen icon that you use for starting Oxygen, select Show package Contents from the popup menu, go in folder Contents -> MacOS, replace the file JavaApplicationStub with the following file from your computer: /System/Library/Frameworks/JavaVM.frame...

Re: 9.3 Crashes on OS X 10.5.7
I just happened to be looking in my console log, and I saw a bunch of messages related to Oxygen. This pattern of messages appears over and over. 8/10/09 10:38:30 AM [0x0-0x118118].ro.sync.exml.Oxygen[1640] 10:38:30,623 1 ERROR [ main ] ro.sync.I.C - java.lang.NoSuchMethodException: apple.laf.CUIAqu...

Re: 9.3 Crashes on OS X 10.5.7
It could be a problem introduced by the Java 6 virtual machine. Can you set Java 5 as the default JRE, quit and restart Oxygen? Does that provide a temporary solution until we can find the cause of the crashes? I'll try it, but the crash report says that the JRE is Java 5. Also, the crash just occu...

Re: 9.3 Crashes on OS X 10.5.7
Did you get all the 15 crashes (14 crashes since last report + the current one) in Oxygen? 15 is a large number for the application crashes of an OS X session. Yes. As I wrote, this happens regularly. This has been my first chance to report the problem. Do you remember what applications or what App...

9.3 Crashes on OS X 10.5.7
I can launch Oxygen and use it just fine, but if I leave it running in the background, it crashes at some point. Re: Feature Request: Close All Folds
I've been working lately on a very long/large/complex/involved XML data-document. As I develop it, I've had occasion to present it to groups of people, a few times. My preferred path is to collapse everything , then start walking people through the structure, one level at a time. When I expand a thi...

Re: Feature Request: Close All Folds
Sorin, that action only closes the immediate children of the root element. I want to collapse every single element in the entire document - all descendants of the root elements.

Re: Font Size Keyboard Shortcuts Not Working
OK, that's useful, thank you!
Those shortcuts are very unintuitive; nearly all Mac apps use the shortcuts I described for these functions. Many Mac keyboard don't even have number pads - none of mine do! So I suggest you change the defaults for the next release.
Thanks,
Avi

Font Size Keyboard Shortcuts Not Working
I'm using 9.2, in OS X 10.5.2, Intel Mac, Java 5 (default).
The Font Size keyboard shortcuts aren't working. These are the menu items under Document>>Font Size; actually, "Normal Editor Font", Cmd-0, does work. It's the other (more important) two that don't.

Sorin, no, I'm still using 8.2, and I'm not ready to upgrade to 9.x yet. If you guys fixed this bug, which I reported over a year ago, in a new version, I'd like to see you release a fix for 8.x as well. I shouldn't have to pay to fix a known bug which is impacting my Oxygen experience. Any chance o...

Still happening
This is still happening to me in Oxygen 8.2 Enterprise, on OS X 10.5.1, using Mark Logic datasources. I'd love a resolution on this; it's really annoying, and it's the only thing which mars my experience with Oxygen.

I'm still experiencing this problem, even after upgrading to 8.1. Any tips?sorin wrote:Hello,
There was a problem with the password when caching the connection to the database in oXygen version 8.0. We fixed it and the fix will be available in version 8.1 which will be released this month.

Data Sources forget their passwords?
First of all, I'm loving version 8. Really kick-ass! This is just a minor annoyance: my data sources sometimes seem to have forgotten their passwords. Sometimes I'll launch the app, try to run an XQuery (against Mark Logic), and I'll get a response that says something like E:null. I don't remember h...

Oops
Oops, just realized that I made a mistake - I meant to say that I'm considering the maintenance pack license - not the floating license.
Thanks!
Thanks!

8.0 Timeline / Floating Licenses
Hi, sorry to overload this thread, but I'm hoping for a quick answer. I'd like to buy two Pro licenses today; I'm just not sure whether to spring for the floating type or not. I'm thinking it depends on the probable release date of 8.0. Is that projected to be in the next 12 months? Thanks! Avi Flax...
