Re: Components not Reusable Components
Thanks for the suggestion. The change was applied but the behavior remains as before. In the Ignore content of these files field, */temp/*, was removed. I tried removing all values from that field to see if that made a difference but it did not change the behavior.

Re: Components not Reusable Components
The root map is open in the Maps Manager view. I changed the preference in the Oxygen Preferences->"Open/Find Resource" page so that the checkbox called "Enable indexing for remote resources" is selected. I reopened oXygen and the root map and that forced the reindexing of the ma...

Components not Reusable Components
The Components tab in the DITA Reusable Components view does not list any items when working with DITA content stored in Tridion Docs. The Components tab shows a message saying "There are no reusable components of type []", followed by instructions on how to define a reusable component fil...

Preservation of preferences from 17.1 to 20.1
Hi. We are planning a site-wide upgrade of oXygen, going from Author 17.1 to 20.1. We are hoping to maintain the user preferences as part of this upgrade. Are there any issues with user preferences that were made in 17.1 being preserved in 20.1? Also, to maintain the preferences, would we need to ma...

Re: Correctly show conref pushreplace in Author view
Hi. Is there any update that you could provide as to the status of enhancing the display of content that is pushed into a topic in Author mode? The challenges that Radu listed seem pretty significant. That said, I have been seeing an increasing number of use cases over the last few years where conre...

Re: Limit for number of plugins with SDL deployment
Thank you, Radu. The answer in your response is what I expected. I was told that "oXygen only allows one plugin" but that didn't sound right and I found nothing in your documentation stating a limit. I just wanted to confirm that with you. I'll double-check with SDL that their extension wi...

Limit for number of plugins with SDL deployment
Hi. Is there a known limit to the number of oXygen plugins that can be deployed with a centrally controlled system like SDL Knowledge Center? My group would like to take advantage of a number of authoring optimization features in oXygen and DITA using plugins and extending the DITA framework. Regard...

Make click of topic heading <topichead> expand branch in web
When <topichead> is used in the hierarchy of a map, the Webhelp output shows it as a topic heading with a book icon. To expand the branch under the topic heading, you click on the book icon. We would like for the topic title itself to also be clickable so that if a user clicks on it, the branch expa...

Re: Accept/Reject all changes in map
We primarily use Track Changes to show content reviewers where we have made changes since the last revision of a document. We do not use Track Changes to enable our reviewers to select whether to accept/reject content changes. Our DITA content is stored in a content management system (Ixiasoft). Our...

Accept/Reject all changes in map
We would like a way to accept/reject all tracked changes in the topic of a map. Currently, if we have a map with 100 topics in it and we make changes to 15 of those topics, then when we need to reset the changes to the topics we have to search for each topic that has changes, open the topics, and ac...

Turn on Track Changes for all topics
We would like to see an option be added to oXygen that allows users to have Track Changes turned on for each topic that is opened. This would save users from having to click Track Changes with each topic that they open and edit.
Thanks,
Jason
Thanks,
Jason

Search results not displayed in right pane of webhelp when u
When using IE6, there is a problem with the Webhelp output from DITA. The problem is that if you do a search in the left pane of the Webhelp and click on one of the topics in the search results, the selected topic will not display in the right/content pane of the Webhelp. Nothing seems to happen. Do...

Re: Shading for attributes in text view
Right. I'm speaking of the attribute content assist popup. We are using Windows XP, version 2002 with SP 3. I found a setting that will change the color of the selected items in the assist popup. Unfortunately, changing the setting also changes the color for many other items in the display of Window...

Shading for attributes in text view
We are using the oXygen 12.1 Editor plugin for Eclipse. We are looking for a way to change the color of shading that is used to highlight the selected attribute in the attribute drop-down list of the text view. Currently, the color is gray. We would like to change to a brighter color.
Thanks
Jason

ID generation
I am trying to find where the auto-generation of @id can be set for specific DITA elements. For example, I want to be able to automatically generate IDs for the <table> and <fig> elements in our topics. Is there a setting for this in the Preferences dialog? I haven't been able to find it. I'm using ...

Re: Track changes functionality in text view

Our group will not be willing to do all of their writing work in...

Is there existing functionality so that the track changes feature that is in the Author view can also be used while in the Text view. I am using Oxygen 11 Editor with Eclipse 3.4.2. I am trying to create some keyboard shortcuts for oXygen using Windows > Preferences > General > Keys. Specifically, I am trying to assign a binding for the command Insert Section/Step. I have assigned several bindings to the command, such as alt+s and...
