running oxygen-author from webapp
Hi,
We have a webapp and we edit xml documents in it (now with forms).
We want to use oxygen author for this.
Is there something of a "tutorialish" document on this subject?
Regards,
Hans Scholte

Hi Hans,
Just to make sure I understand, you want to embed the XML Author in the Web page in order to edit XML in it, am I correct?
We have a topic in our user manual which might be useful as a starting point:
http://www.oxygenxml.com/doc/ug-oxygen/ ... onent.html
Basically using our Author Component SDK:
http://www.oxygenxml.com/oxygen_sdk.htm ... _component
you can create a Java applet which you can then embed in a web page.
Or do you want to edit the XML documents in the standalone version of Oxygen by communicating with the web application to load and save the documents?
Regards,
Radu

I am sorry, I just tried the same link and it works correctly. Please can you clean your browser cache and try again? Do you use a proxy server set in your browser (or maybe in your corporate network) for loading the pages from the Oxygen server? Maybe that proxy server cannot access the Oxygen server?eHannes wrote:tried the like to the "sample project" on page

Also you can look at this sample applet. On this page you can also find a zip archive with a sample project.

Hi Hans,
I see now, you are right, we will correct the link to that zip archive in the User Manual. You can use any sample project to test the applet component, or both if you like. Just let us know if you run into errors/problems or if you have other questions.

Sorin
