About licensing
Post by AlbertMarin »
Hi,
we just bought a 10 oXygen licenses (you have send us only one license key with "number of licenses=10"), we understand that we must use the same license key in all the computers we install oXygen, and we don't know how can we control the number of licenses in use.
Also we would like to know if we can install oXygen in more than 10 computer. Licensing is per computer or per user?
Than you.
Albert.

Hello,
The license is per user, not per computer. A licensed user can use the license key on more than one computer as long as he is the only user that uses the license key.
You control the number of licenses by keeping an internal evidence of the licensed users and giving the license key only to a number of users equal with the number of licenses.
If a user logs in to his user account on a computer and registers his license key and another user will log in later to other user account there is no problem: the license key is stored in the user account and is not available to other users logged in other accounts on the same computer. Other users will need to register their own license key for using Oxygen on the same computer.
Of course if one user stops using the license and uninstalls Oxygen from all computers where he used it his license key can be assigned to other user.
Regards,
Sorin
