DITA Map Manager view

Please bring back the Promote/Demote buttons. I know that it is in the contextual menu, but this is not convenient when trying to arrange hierarchies quickly in a DITA map. In addition, the keyboard shortcut to promote/demote as shown on the contextual menu does not work on MacBook Pro.

Indeed in Oxygen 12 we decided to simplify the DITA Maps Manager toolbar and removed the toolbar with auxiliary actions.
Thank you for the feedback, we will discuss it.
In the meantime you can open the Oxygen Preferences->Menu Shortcut Keys page and assign different keyboard shortcuts to the Promote/Demote/Move Up/Move Down actions. My recommendation is to use the META key instead of ALT. We will also make it the default key combination for these actions on the Mac.

I second this request. That second toolbar was/is extremely useful out here in the real world. I find myself hesitant to upgrade my team to v12, in spite of the other great enhancements, because I know losing that little button bar is going to cause a lot of angst on my team. They are new to DITA, new to OxygenXML, and new to working in syntax.
That toolbar made manipulating hierarchy and adding new topics a quick and simple activity.
