WebHelp Responsive navigation links for last topic in map
Hi everyone,
for some reason, the very last topic in my output still contains two navigation links (previous and next). The next button leads to a seemingly random topic in the first third of the help output. I've searched my project for the file name of that random topic, and I can't find a relationship between the two files. I've also made sure that there are no duplicate topic IDs. What could be the reason for this behavior?
I am using <oXygen/> XML Editor 20.1, build 2018122403 and a custom publishing template.
Thank you for any help
Susanne

Hello,
Do you have a relationship table in your source files?
In order to see what exactly triggers this, we need you to provide some sample files that you can reproduce the behavior with.
You can send the sample files on our official technical support email address: support@oxygenxml.com
Best Regards,
Costin

Dear Costin,
yes, there are relationship tables.
However, I couldn't find an entry that would explain this behavior to me.
The files are on their way.
Thank you
Susanne

Re: WebHelp Responsive navigation links for last topic in map
Dear Susanne,
We have indeed some strange behavior already logged in our internal issue tracking system.
Somehow (as the behavior is still under investigation by our development team), navigation links could behave strange when working with bookmaps that have a reltable element at the end - ending-up with an unnecessary Next arrow (when the user is in the context of an Appendix) or with duplicated Previous <> Next arrows.
I guess you could have a pretty similar setup that could trigger the issue, but we will look into this further when you send us some sample files that reproduce the issue.
Regards,
Costin
