contexts.xml 100MB in 23.1

Hello,

we have Problems with opening Help for Oxygen.

Navigate to “Oxygen XML-Author/Editor/Edit modes / Pages/ Autocorrect / Dictionaries”.
Confirm the link „How to add more dictionaries “.

We see that the content.xml file in the help folder of the Oxygen Plugin changed size from about 2 MB to 100MB.

This file causes our CMS to freeze.

Why is this dramatic change to this file?

Hi Stefan,

Indeed our user's guide contexts.xml seems to have grown quite a lot, I added an internal issue to investigate this further.
We added lots of IDs to DITA elements in our user's guide for our WebHelp Responsive output but it seems our generation of the contexts.xml takes into account IDs even from elements like paragraphs or images. So we'll probably need to work on generating a smaller contexts.xml in a future version of the plugin.

Right, that would be an option, possibly there are new userguide topics in 23.1 which would no longer be mapped in the 23.0 contexts.xml, but most of them would.

We just made an Oxygen 23.1 minor bug fix release, I think the contexts.xml included in it should be smaller:
