DocBook: How to really get the document on my local language
Dear members,
On the headero of my document I have:
in order to get the generated document with the spanish labels and I get property: Tabla de Contenidos for Table of Contents, Prefacio, etc, nevertheless some other labels are not properly translated, for example:
1.)- Draft: I get the translated word: "Borrador" for the Table of Contents, and Preface part of the book, but for the rest of the document I get: "Draft".
2.)- Chapter 1, Chapter 2, etc. Instead of CapÃtulo 1, CapÃtulo 2, etc.
3.)- When I use <xref> for a figure, table or section I get the text in english, for example: Figure 1.1 "The caption" instead of Figura 1.1 "The caption". The same apply for the section, example, etc.
4.)- The hyphentation is not correct for the spanish language.]
Where do I have to configure such information?
Thanks in advance,
David

Hello David,
You have to set two DocBook stylesheet parameters: l10n.gentext.language to the value 'es' and l10n.gentext.use.xref.language to the value 1. In HTML output the viewer (Internet browser) does the hyphenation. For PDF output the hyphenate stylesheet param is true by default but you have to specify a hyphenation file. To add the hyphenation patterns file to the oXygen classpath just copy the file to the oXygen install folder and restart oXygen.

Sorin
