Keywords. Using Scheme

Hey guys i am new here. So sry if i make an mistakes with my first Question.
I am using the TEI at the moment. I want to create some keywords describing the Text i have.
From other text edited i saw this line

<keywords scheme="ConfTool" n="category">
<term>Paper</term>

What does "Conftool" mean?

We (the Oxygen XML team) do not work with TEI internally so we cannot help much with questions about how the TEI vocabulary can be used to accomplish a certain task. I would suggest you try to join the TEI users list hosted by Brown University and ask there:
