Re: EXM-18109 patch interferes with fig.title attribute-set in DITA OT 3.3.1
Hi Radu, Thanks for your answer. I have made an xsl:import for that template and overrode it using our own custom.xsl. That was the quickest solution I could find. Would it make more sense to do it the way you proposed? Other than that I wouldn't recommend removing your plugin completely. I really r...

The question is: CAN I override that plugin without an existing extension point? Haven't done that yet.

EXM-18109 patch interferes with fig.title attribute-set in DITA OT 3.3.1
Hi, I guess that the above mentioned patch is there for a good reason, but somehow it interferes with our custom fig.title attribute set, i. e. it adds a text-align="center" to the fig.title attribute settings, which is unwanted behavior. The code is in the custom.xsl file of the com.oxyge...

Transformation JVM Arguments default value
Hello, Since we have several large documents that require a lot of memory when transformed, we have come across the error message "java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: GC overhead limit exceeded". Changing the JVM Arguments value in the transformation's Advanced tab from -Xmx384m to -Xmx1g or -Xmx4...

Japanese Webhelp search seems to hang in loop
Hi, Oxygen 21.1, DITA OT 3.3.1 It looks like the webhelp responsive search function does not work properly with Japanese. All topics and ditamaps' xml:lang attributes are set to ja-JP, the transformation is running properly, but when I run a search in the output, the search doesn't provide any resul...

Problem with localization of DITA OT strings for responsive Webhelp output
Hi, I don't know how often I've read https://www.oxygenxml.com/doc/versions/22.0/ug-editor/topics/localize-webhelp-responsive.html#localize-webhelp-responsive or the 21.1 version of the docs. It is no problem to change the strings of the Webhelp Responsive plug-in, but when it comes to the DITA OT o...

Re: Adding Google Tag Manager Code to the WebHelp output
Hi Radu, I've managed to run extensive tests now with the Google Tag Manager script. The result is that it is VERY important where you put the XML comment tags. It is not sufficient to just add them in front of and at the end of the script content. You must also make sure that the script content doe...

Re: Adding a Home link or icon to the search results page
Hi Ionela, Thanks for your answer. We know that the Publication Title can also be used to get back to the home page. However, in our case this is not obvious. Our Publication Title is in the top middle of the page and it looks like the subtitle of the product name. So, we cannot expect users to iden...

Hi Radu, I've managed somehow to get the Google Tag Manager code in the correct location, but when I run the transformation, the XML comment does not disappear - which it should, shouldn't it? Is there anything else that we need to set/configure to make it transform properly? This is the content of ...

Hi Radu, You write the following: You can do this only by editing the HTML Page Layout Files used in the publishing template. Open the template files and move the webhelp.fragment.before.body fragment to the desired location. Do you mean that the original HTML Page Layout Files from the WebHelp Resp...

Hi Radu,
Thanks for your quick reply.
It looks like I already have the latest plugins that you mention. I've downloaded the latest files from here:
https://www.oxygenxml.com/xml_webhelp/d ... bhelp.html
What else could be the problem?
Thanks,
Christina

Re: Progress indicator for "Validate and check for completeness"
Hi,
any updates on this one? I got notified today that the validation of one manual with more than 2000 topics takes an hour now.
Too costly for not being able to work waiting for the validation to end.
Best regards,
Christina

Hi, I just saw your forum entry. I am surprised that your managers might want to drop the translation agency. Re: Keywords not visible in output (PDF/WebHelp) when using sub-ditamaps
Hi all, Regarding this hopefully soon implemented feature I would like to add that it would be extremely useful if the "Validate and Check for Completeness" dialog contained an option that allows you to determine from which ditamap the keys are gathered - in this case the root map. Use cas...

Hi Ionela, Benjamin asked me to check. Unfortunately, we cannot reproduce a clean installation of Oxygen XML, at least I wouldn't know how, but I've managed to set the original framework using the built-in DITA OT. We don't use VMs on which we could use a clean installation for these purposes. I've ...
