Table import in DITA format
We want to import text tables like the following into DITA: Type | Value | Description Lead | Low | Starting point for alchemists. Gold | High | The alchemist’s goal. The File > Import > Text File function works fine, but gives us the following: <root> <row> <Type>Lead</Type> <Value>Low</Value> <Des...

Text file import: spaces converted to underscores
I'm importing a text file with the field names in the first line. The field separator is the pipe but there are a lot of meaningless spaces around the header names for padding. These spaces are converted to underscores during import.
Is there a way to prevent these underscores?
TIA
Frank

Re: Class attribute error
Thanks, Radu. That finally did the trick! Restricting my catalog file to only a Public ID lets the transformation run through without problem.

Re: Class attribute error
Hi Radu, thanks for looking into this. 1) catalog-dita.xml is ok now Commenting the DOCTYPE declaration in the catalog file solved the problem with the catalog-dita.xml file. Now the whole content of my catalog file gets written to catalog-dita.xml (even the commented DOCTYPE declaration): <!--<!DOC...

Re: Class attribute error
Thanks for your quick reply, Radu. I replicated the steps on another PC with the same result: The catalog file from the plugin does work in oXygen for validation but the transformation still fails. This time I also checked the catalog-dita.xml . The Ant integration adds only the following line to th...

RSS feed for the forum(s)
It would be great if the forum(s) would provide their own RSS feed(s). That would make following issues much easier.

Re: Class attribute error
Thanks for the pointer. I'm at a different PC today but will check that asap (should have read your above instruction more thoroughly in the first place ...). I also tried to run the Ant integration transformation from the command line as described at http://dita4publishers.sourceforge.net/to...

Re: Class attribute error
(This is a follow up to my inquiry at https://github.com/dita-ot/dita-ot/issues/861 .) I followed your detailed instructions and created a plugin in the OT's plugin folder to extend the XML Catalog. I also ran the "Run DITA OT Integrator" transformation to install the plugin. The transform...

Re: BUG Oxygen 8.2 Catalog file templates create illegal fil
Thanks for the quick reply! I did indeed disable the default catalog while experimenting with different catalog settings. Re-activating validates the XML Catalog 1.1 file.

Re: BUG Oxygen Catalog file templates create illegal file
I get the same issue when creating an XML Catalog 1.1 file with oXygen 15.2 ( File > New OASIS XML Catalog > XML Catalog 1.1 ). Xerxes throws the following error message: HttpExceptionWithDetails-404 Not Found for: http://www.oasis-open.org/committees/entity/release/1.1/catalog.dtd The reason is tha...
