Schematron quick fix to add and element and an attribute
Hi, I think I am trying to do something simple with Schematron and quick fixes but struggling. I want to check for a given element and if it doesn't exist, then I want to add it and its required attribute. I know I need <sch:rule context="prolog"> <sch:assert test="resourceid" sq...

Customize Author view based on metadata field in topic
Hi,
Is there any way to visually flag a topic as being highly sensitive so that when an author opens it in XML Editor, the Author view will show some highlighting or change in colour or warning icon to tell the author that this is a highly sensitive topic?
Any advice appreciated,
Regards,
Ann

Hi,
Sorry I missed your reply. To answer your question, I am looking to just have a standardized "Prerequisites" title that precedes the element content?

How can I configure output text heading for prereq element using Oxygen webhelp?
Hi,
When I transform a DITA task containing <prereq> element using OOTB webhelp I don't get any title/heading for this section of content.
Can this be customized to include a title for the content inside <prereq> element?
Thanks in advance,
Ann

Re: Does Oxygen add in <?xm-replace_text?> processing instruction when using SDL Authoring Bridge?
Thanks for your reply Radu. When you say Oxygen retrieves the title of the target topic dynamically when you open the XML document containing the link. does the linked-to topic have to exist locally along with the XML document containing the link? Or does Oxygen go across the SDL Authoring Bridge to...

Does Oxygen add in <?xm-replace_text?> processing instruction when using SDL Authoring Bridge?
Hi, Our authors use XMetaL across the SDL Authoring Bridge and XMetaL adds in a <?xm-replace_text?> processing instruction to resolve names of topics linked to in cross references. Does Oxygen apply this same PI for topics authored across the SDL Authoring Bridge? Any advice appreciated, Regards, Ann

Why is my topic metadata merging with my map metadata during preprocessing?
Hi, I am trying to troubleshoot an unexpected value coming from preprocessing. On debugging topicpullImpl.xsl it appears that the text values from the <map<topicmeta> elements are somehow merging with those from <reference><prolog><metadata> elements where the reference is one of the children of the...

Hi, I have created a Schematron rule and quickfix that will insert the XML fragment when detected. However, the <sqf:add> is also inserting xmlns="http://purl.oclc.org/dsdl/schematron" as an attribute of the root XML element in my fragment as follows: <topicmeta xmlns="http://purl.ocl...

Hi, I have a section of DITA XML <topicmeta> <resourceid appname="abc"/> </topicmeta> that I want to insert within all instances of <topicref></topicref> in my project maps. Some of them might already have some of this XML already there in which case I don't want to overwrite it. Can you a...

Support for use of DITA anchorref
Hi,
I am looking for some documentation and ideally some examples of how to use the DITA anchorref element to reuse maps of content.
Can you advise on where I can find such information as it seems to be very thin on the ground.
Any advice appreciated,

Ann

Why can't I see ditamap in Both Maps Manager View and Editor View?
Hi,
I have opened a Ditamap (not part of an Oxygen project) that has 4 child topics. I only seem to be able to view the map either in the DITA Maps Manager view OR the Oxygen Editor View.
Is this as expected or can I change settings to view it in both?
thanks in advance,
Ann

Hi,
Is there a configuration step to ensure that images included in DITA topics are included in the output after using the DITA Map MS Word plugin?
They are not appearing in my output.
Thanks in advance,
Ann
