I've tried to pair this down as far as I can. I'm using Oxy7 with Saxon 8B Here's the original XML document: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?><?mso-application progid="Excel.Sheet"?> <Workbook xmlns="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:spreadsheet" xmlns:xsi...

I still have thir propblem after upgrading to v.7. I guess I was hoping a newer version of Saxon would fix the problem.

Since it didn't, and I can't believe this is a widespread problem, I must assume I've done something wrong in my XSLT file.

If anyone has any thought, PLEASE let me know.

Thanks,

If you get a copy of OpenOffice (free) it can open your XL spreadsheet and same it as XML with all the sheets, rows and columns intact.

All my declared namespaces are showing up in my <br/>

I'm using Saxon 8.1B and Oxygen v5 (I'll be upgrading this evening to v7) When I translate a namespace aware XML file using my stylesheet, I get all the namespaces repeated in the <BR/> html tags. They also show up in other tags (like <p>) Here's my XSL fragment so far.. <xsl:stylesheet version=&quo...

OK, never mind. It works using Saxon 8.1B, but not Saxon 6.5.3 or Xalan.

Thanks!

Hi, I've got a similar problem, but your solution didn't seem to help me. I'm trying to parse the output from OpenOffice, here's a paired down example: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?><?mso-application progid="Excel.Sheet"?> <Workbook xmlns="urn:schemas-micro...

New oXygen User, Was Altova User

First, it took me a couple of days of use to get use to oXygen over XML Spy. But now that I have, I'm ready to dump Altova. Their products have gotten waaaay too expensive and the scaled back offering (Home Version) is almost useless for any real work. A couple of things that would be nice: GUI for ...

I cleared the cache and still get 3.1 (btw: it woul dbe nice if the installer showed the version number right up front)

I am also downloading the version without the JVM. I have not tried the version with the JVM as I don't need yet another version of Java installed on my machine.

Thanks!
