Where did you get the beta version? Is there a beta testers' group?

To start it on Mac use
sh oxygen.sh
or if you want to use oxygenMac.sh instead you should edit it to add lib/oxygen.jar to classpath.

Thanks for the pointer--I've subscribed to the list and downloaded the beta.

Congratulations on the excellent and rapid development on oXygen! It has become a very stable and mature editing platform, and the people in my department have started abandoning our prior XML editors and we are all buying oXygen licenses.

OK, So April 30th Oxygen announces oXygen 4.0 is available.
The download page lists v.4, but when I download and install it's 3.1

Hi,

My guess is that you got the download from your browser/proxy cache.
Try clearing the cache, if you still have problems let us know.

I cleared the cache and still get 3.1 (btw: it woul dbe nice if the installer showed the version number right up front)

I am also downloading the version without the JVM. I have not tried the version with the JVM as I don't need yet another version of Java installed on my machine.

I just tried again and this time I got the 4.0 version.

So far it looks real good!
