Re: WebHelp: wrong link display for <xref>

Hi Bogdan,

I did some further testing and it looks as if our customized WebHelp is the culprit because I can reproduce the error with standard DITA files using our WebHelp transformation. I send you sample files and output via technical support.

Kind regards,
Frank

Re: WebHelp: wrong link display for <xref>

I couldn't reproduce the error with standard DITA files, either. So it looks as if there's something wrong with our DTD customization. I will do some more testing and report back.

JFTR, Magda Caloian has created an oXygen framework for building a DITA project from a content outline. Authors will insert the topic titles, type and level, then the project structure is generated, including project file, ditamap, topics: https://github.com/mgcalo/model2dita

Re: How to modify autocomplete code templates?

Hi, I've successfully added the default Author Action " section " to Content Completion ; this action already inserts a <title> element. This works as expected when using Content Completion in Author mode. However, when I also add the action to the Element View , my new item " section...

Master files for PDF plugin customization?

Hi, I'm working on a DITA PDF plugin customization . While working on the XSLT files I get a lot of warnings and error messages, for example: XTSE0650: No template exists named insertVariable I know that using Master Files is the solution but I cannot figure out which XSL files to use. The Detecting...

Re: Trigger Author Action on save?

Hi Alex,

Your plugin works like a charm! Many thanks.

Is there a way to deploy the plugin together with our custom DITA framework so the user doesn't have to have write access to [OXYGEN_DIR]\plugins?

Best regards,
Frank

Re: How to modify autocomplete code templates?

Hi Radu, Thanks for your quick reply. As we have also use cases where we use sections without a title, making the title a required element is unfortunately not an option for this project. But come to think of it. How does oXygen know whether an Author Action is valid at a given position? Usually, th...

Re: How to modify autocomplete code templates?

Hi, Content Completion For another project, I face a similar problem: When inserting a <section>, the section should also automatically get a <title> (which is not required by the schema). The default "section" Author Action does this already (but is only triggered via a menu or a toolbar)...

Trigger Author Action on save?

Hi, I've created an DITA Author Action which adds an ID to a topic based on the topic's file name . Currently, I trigger this action with a button but it would be more elegant to trigger this action automatically with every file save. I've already read Set prolog revised date on save? and it looks a...

Re: Error: 'E [Jing] missing "start" element' with DITA RNG modu

Hi, I face the same problem now while working on a RNG attribute domain module even when adding all document type files to the Master Files . Re: DITA RNG customization plugin not recognized by oXygen 17

Hi Radu, That was indeed the reason. I use a separate DITA framework which is integrated into oXygen as an additional framework ( Options > Preferences > Document Type Association > Location ). With oXygen 16 that was enough to also point oXygen to that framework's DITA-OT. With oXygen 17 I have to ...

Hi Samuel, You can add these labels using CSS. Here's a sample from my WebHelp CSS for task prerequisites: div.prereq:before{ content:"Prerequisites: "; } See C:\Program Files\Oxygen XML Author 16\frameworks\dita\css_classed\reference.css for sample CSS. And use a tool like Firebug to insp...

Re: WebHelp: wrong link display for <xref>

I did some more testing and got some strange results. One of the DITA frameworks is based on DTD, the other on RELAX NG (RNG). It looks as if only links to RNG files are displayed correctly, and this only if they themselves are embedded in an RNG file: RNG file DTD <xref>: " xref_target_DTD.htm...
