Re: Adding a step number to a 1-step task
Can I request a feature enhancement for a future oxygen release? At least to make this a flag or an xsl extension point?

Adding a step number to a 1-step task
In a DITA task file, if the taskbody > steps has only one STEP element, the resulting web output does not add the "1.".
Even if it's a single step, I still want the "1" to appear in the ::before area of the resulting HTML span. Where can I edit this option?

Forcing a search result not present in the text
I have a series of dita topics. Each topic contains many tables. I want to assign each table a "unique id" such that searching for that unique ID displays the appropriate table in the search result. However, I do not want the "unique id" to appear anywhere in the text itself. I t...

removing target=_blank from links that are set to external scope
I have some xrefs that point to a place somewhere else on the server, using "../../OtherFolder/File.html" notation. Everything works fine. However, I really don't want these opening in a new tab...however, Oxygen seems to want to add the target=_blank in the HTML to anything that has scope...

Linking that is neither cross ref nor web link
I maintain a server with several different manuals (each manual, the result of a webhelp resonsive transformation scenario from its own ditamap). Sometimes, I need these manuals to link to each other (again, remember, none of these are maintained in the same ditamap). Now, I *could* use a "hard...

How to "freeze" an image, so that it doesn't scroll
I have many topic files; each topic file has an image with callouts at the top, then 10-20 tables below it. Each table refers to one of the callouts. I'd really like to be able to "freeze" the image or hold the image in place, like in a pane or an iframe or something", so that the use...

stepsection resets numbering for xref
Using Oxygen 22.1. In a task topic, I have a table at the top with step numbers. These step numbers are xrefs that link to steps with IDs in the same file. The xref just displays the step number, which is what I want. However, putting in a stepsection causes this numbering to reset. Is this a known ...

I'd like to export a task to excel, with each step being one cell. Is this possible? The twist is: A lot of my steps are just an image (no text). And I want these to be outputted as well. I found the documentation about copying to excel from "Grid" mode but again, this doesn't help with im...

We already fixed that in the latest maintenance build of WebHelp, therefore you should make sure to download and install the latest maintenance build available from our website, then use that newer installation to run the transformation scenario. I just tried this using Oxygen 23 and I get the same...

Printing topics from webhelp responsive
When printing a topic from webhelp resonsive, the LH nav menu also prints. I remember that in the old webhelp classic, this was not the case. Is there a way to print *only* the topic? Additionally, I notice that, by default, the icons for notes (warning, caution, danger, etc) are classified as "...

Display linked procedures in same window
I have a complete repair manual with hundreds of procedures. Many of these procedures link to each other.
When a procedure links to another, is there a way to display the linked procedure in the same window, perhaps *in place of* the link? Could a smaller frame open? Any ideas?

Adding a "Section" element to a DITA file results in a "turndown" arrow being displayed in the HTML.
Is it possible to add this arrow to other sections as well? Could I add them wherever I want?
Thanks.

Running identity transform creates unnecessary classes
Running the XSLT identity transform on a DITA document adds a bunch of classes to all the elements. For example, this file: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <!DOCTYPE topic PUBLIC "-//OASIS//DTD DITA Topic//EN" "topic.dtd"> <topic id="MyTable">...

I don't see an option for that in the Normal.docx file.
