MEDIA_UNSUPPORTED in author
My team uses the object tag to embed videos into our HTML content. In Author view, there is a "MEDIA_UNSUPPORTED" visual that misleads the writer into thinking the video isn't working. How can I fix this so a thumbnail instead shows of the video, or some other resolution I haven't thought ...

Specify the root map via custom plugin
Hi! I'm using a custom plugin that pulls in Oxygen options via the option.xml file in a plugin.jar , and distribute that out to many writers. I tried setting my root map to the default "main" map I use for keys, and exporting my options to save that and distribute to writers, but I'm not s...

"example should only contain one title element"
I'm on Author 20.1, and a warning is appearing in some of my tasks: "example should only contain one title element". I don't recall this in previous version of Oxygen. Sample code of an example in a task: <example><title>example 1</title> <p>content</p> <title>example 2</title> <p>content<...

Re: Custom framework, xpr files, and code templates
Hi there, I have 2 custom frameworks and 1 plugin that get used daily by writers, and I update them about once every couple months. Is there a way I can track who is updating, or at least, how many people have updated? For example if I have version 2.0.1 out for a couple months, then make a change a...

RTF transform seems incomplete
When I try to use the "DITA Map RTF" transform, I get the following error: Transformation failed. /Applications/Oxygen XML Author/frameworks/dita/DITA-OT2.x/plugins/org.dita.wordrtf/build_dita2wordrtf.xml:75: javax.xml.transform.TransformerConfigurationException: net.sf.saxon.s9api.SaxonAp...

Re: Oxygen 18.1 crashing regularly on OSX
Upgrading to 19.1 fixed most of the problems. One writer still had problems but modified her info.plist as you describe in a previous comment, and that seems to have fixed her issue for now. Thank you!

Re: Custom framework, xpr files, and code templates
Hello, As a followup, your suggestions in the previous post worked. I have a request to add the "Show extended toolbar" from the DITA Maps Manager to be enabled by default. When I select this option and export my options, there is nothing in the options.xml file makes this option selected ...

Re: Oxygen 18.1 crashing regularly on OSX
What version of Oxygen are they using and on what version of macOS? Oxygen 18.1, Mac OS Sierra 10.12.6. I have them all trying to obtain logs now. I have upgraded one user to 19.1 to see if this fixes the problem. Another I have modified the info.plist file for their version of 18.1. And another we...

Re: Oxygen 18.1 crashing regularly on OSX
I don't see an update after the build logs were sent. I have about the same amount of writers encountering this problem. Can there be an update to this post please to let us know if and how this was fixed? I'll also send our logs to the support address.

Content Fusion Server
Hi there! Very excited about the Content Fusion add-on that is in beta for 19. Question - Instead of uploading to the Oxygen Content Fusion Server, can we upload to our own server?

Re: Custom framework, xpr files, and code templates
Another question related to this... Is it possible to have any transformations I add to the custom framework automatically appear in the "Transform with" dialog? Currently, I have to click the gear icon and select "Show all scenarios". I'd like them to automatically be associated...

Re: How to remove the automatic date format
... but its location might depend on the Oxygen version and on whether or not you are using a custom DITA framework. Hi Radu, where in the custom framework should this be saved? When you are editing the framework's preferences, I mean? I try to save it in the CSS tab from "Author" but tha...

Re: Custom framework, xpr files, and code templates
Great! Here is what my structure was looking like when I pulled my Mac-made zip into Eclipse in case you're curious: zip -- _MACOSX ---- framework_customization ------ ._.DS_Store -- framework_customization ---- resources ---- templates ---- .DS_Store ---- custom_dita_extension.framework Deleting th...

Re: Custom framework, xpr files, and code templates
Alex, thanks for all of your help! it's working as expected. My problem was actually due to using a Mac while creating the zip files. Mac threw in some extra hidden folders that I couldn't see until I opened the .zip file in Eclipse and deleted them. The structure is now working and clean since I ma...

Re: Custom framework, xpr files, and code templates
Alex, thanks again for your help! I followed the steps you listed in your previous comment and am able to see the code templates. To answer an earlier question about XPR files, we wanted them because of the transformation scenarios in there but I was able to add those into the framework without XPR ...

Re: Custom framework, xpr files, and code templates
Alex, I previously replied about the structure error but have resolved that. Now my problem is still in the options.xml file. Again, I tried to get the code templates to appear in two ways: Adding them to Preferences > Code Templates, then exporting the options.xml as the Readme states; and exportin...

Re: Custom framework, xpr files, and code templates
Thank you, Alex, for the information! I'm trying to package the code templates as a plugin instead, using the method you described. I downloaded the .jar file you linked, added options.xml and placed it next to plugin.xml. My next steps aren't working. I tried two ways: Method 1: placed the revised ...

Custom framework, xpr files, and code templates
Hello, I've created a custom framework by following the steps in http://blog.oxygenxml.com/2015/08/document-type-extension-sharing.html. I've packaged the framework as a zip file and deployed as an add-on by following https://www.oxygenxml.com/doc/versions/18.1/ug-editor/topics/packing-and-deploying...
