Open file

Hi,

Whenever I try to open a file that is situated on my network (ie something like \\mypc\file.xml) I get an error: "cannot open C:\mypc\file.xml" . I try to open it with the right-click mousemenu. I guess there's a bug somewhere? Or is this already fixed?

What version are you running ? You can surely open files on other computers in the local network and they should look like:

Hi,

I tried it again and noticed that the error occurs when I browse to a file on the network with explorer and then try to open it with the mouse-menu. (thus not within oxygen's open dialog box).

I'm using oxygen 3.1 on WinXP.

I already posted a bug on our bugzilla and we will fix the "Open file at cursor" action. Until then you can use the Open action from the File menu.

We just fixed this bug. The fix will be available in the next release.
