oXygen 9.1+ does not remember ssh keys

Post by dnedrow »

Each time I try to connect to a particular server, oXygen prompts me to accept that servers ssh key. This key should be stored the first time it is accepted, whether the actual connection is successful or not.

The user has made the choice to accept the key, and should not be prompted again.

I suspect that if the is being stored by oXygen, it is only done AFTER a successful connection. Given that I have not yet been able to get oXygen to complete a connection, the store of the accepted key may be "lost".

As I noted, as soon as the user accepts the key, it should be saved regardless of the authentication result.

Hello David,

I assume you talk about accepting SSH keys when connecting to a FTP server through SSH (the SFTP protocol). Yes, the SSH key should be stored and reused regardless of the authentication result. We will reuse the SSH keys accepted by the user in a future version of oXygen.
