Cannot create new files!!
Hi,
I seem to have a bug in my oxygen application. The problem is that whenever I try and create a new file, I am unable to edit it. A blank skeleton with the xml version declaration is created in the new XML document but there is no cursor to be seen. Also, I am unable to perform other actions like minimise, maximise or close using the title bar icons. It does not show up as not responding either (in the task bar) and application seems quite functional but without the ability of being able to modify it.
Any sort of advice in this regards will be quite helpful!
Thanks,
Murtaza

Hello,
Do you mean there is no visible cursor when you click with the mouse in the editing area and the letter keys do not insert any characters in the editor? Is the menu bar active? Can you open the About dialog from menu Help -> About? If yes go to the System preferences tab and tell us the values of the properties java.vm.vendor and java.vm.version. What is the name and version of your platform?
Regards,
Sorin
