Diagram navigation(and attribute editting quirk)

Post by Mirvnillith »

Is it possible to enable schema navigation using the diagram (e.g. double-click an element to select it in both diagram and text)? Without it's a bit confusing when the right-click menu applies to the selected element regardless of where you right-click.
Also, when I've editted an element (e.g. added minOccur) the addition is selected in the text, but the diagram folds all the way up to the root element. The correct view (with the editted element selected) is restored on save, but it's a bit annoying.

I forgot to say that this is under Eclipse 3.2 (I'll try under 3.3 on my laptop).

Dear Mirvnillith,

About the double click improvement:
Where do you double click? In Text, Outliner or Schema diagram?
Right clicking an element in the Schema diagram selects the element both in diagram and in text. Does this not happen in your case.

About the editing of attributes from schema diagram we reproduced the problem and will provide a fix in an upcoming version.

Thank you.

Radu
