Multiple networkdrives within Oxygen on Mac OS X

Post by gertjantwindesign »

Oxygen on Mac OS X seems to be able to use only one mounted networkdrive per time. For example when transforming xml with the xslt-script and xml-file stored different servers, Oxygen can’t find the xslt-script. Or when connecting to external folders on multiple networkdrives. On Windows XP this all works well.

The platform we're using: Mac OS X 10.4.10, JavaVM 11.5.0, Oxygen 8.2 build 2007062515. The shares are mounted with

Could you tell me wether we’re doing something wrong, or if this is a bug or something in the software?

Hello,

The transformation scenario works correctly when the XML file and the XSL file are located on different drives. It does not matter if the drives are located on other computer. If the files can be accessed and opened from Finder with other applications, for example TextEdit then they should be opened without problems also in oXygen. Do you mean that when you run the scenario it displays an error that it can't find the XSL file? What is the error message? How did you enter the name of the XSL file in the XSL URL of the scenario dialog? Did you use the yellow button which opens the file dialog and you selected the XSL file with this dialog? Can the XSL file be opened with the File -> Open action?
