OpenAPI support in Author mode only for JSON format but not for YAML
Post by Frank Ralf »
Hi,
I have tried the OpenAPI support of Oxygen with the sample document "petsore3.1.json" located in [OXYGEN-INSTALL-DIR]/samples/json/openapi. The same document is also available in YAML format located in [OXYGEN-INSTALL-DIR]/samples/yaml/openapi. Unfortunately, Author mode support is only available for JSON format but not for YAML files. Is this the expected behavior?
Best regards,
Frank

Re: OpenAPI support in Author mode only for JSON format but not for YAML
Hello Frank,
This is correct, we do not have an Author visual editor mode for editing yaml documents.
The ID of the internal issue for adding it is:
EXM-52080 YAML Author author page
If we ever add one we will update this forum thread.
Regards,
Radu

Hi Radu,
Thanks for the explanation. It's not such an important feature for me right now, just wondering.
