Improve Feedback on Validation Errors in Large DITA Projects

Hi everyone,
I’ve been working with Oxygen XML on some fairly large DITA projects, and one thing that stands out as a frequent pain point is how validation errors are reported and navigated when working with big maps and many topics. Sometimes errors appear in the Validation panel but it takes a lot of clicks to locate the exact file and line where the issue originated, especially if the DITA map has many nested references. It would be really helpful if the editor could offer a more contextual error summary that groups issues by file and provides direct clickable links that open the respective document and highlight the error location.

Enhancing this could make resolving validation problems far more efficient and reduce time spent hunting through large projects.

Hi William,

In general all errors displayed in the Problems tab have line/column information so one can double click an error to navigate to the problem area.
Thanks for the feedback, in order for us to better understand the situation maybe you can start from a precise example, attach some screenshots and we can start discussing based on that use case.
