Responsive Webhelp - menus not clickable

Post by sopuli »

Hello,
I am new to oxygen and DITA, and after creating my first few topics, keys, a map and a key definition map, I just tried to create my first Webhelp via Template. It works to the extent that I see the main webhelp page, but unfortunately the menu buttons are not clickable.
But: when I try and use the search function, I actually do manage to get to the tasks, but they are displayed on a plain page without the template layout.

What is wrong?

Thank you so much.

I just wanted to add the following:

- After the transformation, all topics receive the warning "DOTJ036W"
- I checked and validated the Dita-Map and my Key Defintions Map
- My folder structure is fine (Project folder with sub-folders for Maps, Media, Topics etc.)
- All included topics (literally only 2 concepts, 3 tasks) are valid
- Key Definitions Map is included in main map with "mapref"

All ideas welcome :)

Hi,
Maybe this article from the Oxygen User's Manual will help:
https://www.oxygenxml.com/doc/versions/ ... -refs.html

Thank you Radu. In the meantime, I tried to put all topics into the same folder (no sub-folders) as the map, and this is actually working. However, I will keep your solution in mind as the project grows bigger. It's not very convenient to not be able to work with a proper folder structure.
