Exclude topics not referenced in the ditamap from the search.

Hi,

We want to exclude topics that are not referenced in the DITAMAP from the webhelp search results.
I found a similar inquiry. It is as follows.

Has this issue been resolved?
If so, please tell me how you resolved it.

Hello,

There are two ways to exclude topics from search results, as described here. If neither of these methods works for you, please provide more details about your use case, your Oxygen product, and the version you are using. Additionally, a small valid sample (a DITA map and a few topics) will help us expedite the investigation.

Thank you for showing the solution.
These two methods require narrowing down the file name and specifying the topicref attribute, and are not based on the existence or non-existence of the topic according to ditaval, so they are unlikely to be applicable in practice.

Currently, is it correct to assume that there are no parameters that will allow you to exclude topics that are excluded based on ditaval from your search results?

Hi,

The topics excluded by ditaval filters should not be present in the output folder, and therefore they will not appear in the search results. Please ensure that you start with a clean output folder before performing the transformation. You can do this either by manually cleaning the output folder or by setting the "clean.output" transformation parameter to "yes."

Please let us know if the issue persists after performing this step.
