inline markup a highlighted word(s)
Hallo all, I have a quick question.
In the editor, is there a way to highlight a word and then wrap it from a list of allowed tags? I am using DocBook. I like to write a few paragraphs and then go back and do the inline markup. I would like to be able to highlight a word and then apply a markup, e.g., <literal>selected text</literal>, from a list of allowed tags.
Thanks for your help.

Dear Michael,
You can select the desired text(or word), right click, in the contextual menu go to Refactoring->Surround with tag. A dialog will appear allowing you to select any allowed tag in that context. There are also keyboard shortcuts available for the Surround actions which can also be customized. For example pressing "Ctrl SLASH" surrounds the selected text using the tag you chose in the last Surround with operation.

Thank you for your answer. I would never have guessed that this what was meant by "refactoring". I had tried the online help with keywords like "markup", "adding markup", etc. Searching for "refactor" or "surround" took me right there. Like I said in another post I have a lot to learn, including a new way of describing things.
Thanks for the guidance!
