Assistance Needed: Uneven Table Generation in HTML and PDF Outputs
Post by Amit+007appviewx »
Hi Team,
Greetings!
We are encountering an issue with table generation in both HTML and PDF outputs. The tables are appearing uneven, which negatively impacts the user experience. Could you please suggest any changes that might be needed in the CSS, DITA files, publishing settings, or transformation scenarios to resolve this?
For your reference, I have attached samples of the outputs, the CSS files for both PDF and HTML, and a sample DITA file.
Kindly do the needful
Best Regards
Amit

Hi Amit,
Please note that the way the tables are rendered in the WebHelp output, as well as many other elements, may be customized through CSS. So it would be possible to create and use a CSS customization of your own to fine tune the way the output elements are displayed.
However, we could also look into this and see why the discrepancy occurs, if you could send us a small sample that we could use to reproduce the behavior at our side.
More specific, we need a DITA Map files hierarchy in an as minimal form as possible - like a valid DITA Map with a single topic that contains the tables where we could notice the discrepancy. You could send it either by email - to support@oxygenxml.com - or through the online tech support form.
Regards,
Costin
