DITA Map pane when no ditamap parameter

Hello,

I'm using Oxygen 26.1 web author version.

I'd like some clarification on the behavior of the DITA Map pane.

From my CMS, I open a topic and the URL is something like this: https://author/web-author-component/app ... topic.dita

I don't specify the "ditamap" parameter, but a ditamap is nevertheless filled in the DITA Map pane. I don't understand where this map comes from, because my topic isn't associated with any map and there's nothing in the URL.

Shouldn't the DITA Map pane be empty when no ditamap parameter is specified in the URL?

Thank you for contacting us.
The DITA map is being loaded from the history. However, starting with version 26.1.0.1 of the Web Author, you can set a URL parameter &ditamap=null to prevent a DITA map from being loaded [1].
