XPath Failed

Hello
After I updated to version 25, XPath began acting strangely. Even though autocomplete functions and I can perform a search for the current document in the XPath bar, a basic element search like '//container' yields no results. A typical attribute search might be something like '//@type'. I attempted to downgrade to 24.1, but the issue persists, and I have no idea why.

Could you give a small concrete example?
A sample XML/HTML and XPath expression for which you are not getting the desired result.
I am not reproducing the problem you reported.
