disable tooltip/popups for Schematron validation

Hi,
We are using a framework extension script for our custom framework based on Ixiasoft. Is there a way to disable the popups for the Schematron validation from the extension script? The popups can be annoying at times and would be nice to turn them off and then back on as needed.

Hi Alice,
I do not understand what you mean by "pop-ups", are they actual dialogs which show up? Can you maybe give us a screenshot from your side?
Are you using the Oxygen Eclipse plugin with Ixiasoft or our WebAuthor in-browser editor?

We're using Web Author in Ixiasoft web CCMS not the desktop Eclipse client. Is there a way to turn off auto validation? Here's a sample:

To better understand your use case, we would like to clarify the following aspects:

- Validation should not apply at all, without any pop-ups.
- Validation should remain but pop-ups should not appear.
- Your validation should apply (Schematron), but our automatic validation should no longer apply.

Can you tell us which of these points cover your use case?

The second one - Validation should remain but pop-ups should not appear.
In Ixiasoft web CCMS, validation issues are displayed on the RHS panel. We still want the validation but we want to turn off the pop-ups while editing content.

We thank you for the reply.
Unfortunately, those pop-ups cannot be permanently removed, but we can improve their behavior, their appearance rate depending on the case etc.
To implement this configuration in a way that is most useful for you, could you please provide more details on how you envision the appearance of these pop-ups (cases for which they should appear), so that they are less disruptive for the user?

Bottom right would be the most less disruptive for the user. We think this will be the best scenario that will keep the popups away from the editing area.
