Build-In Framework support for NISO STS
Dear Oxygen team,
We have a customer who would like to work with NISO STS (https://www.niso.org/standards-committees/sts). So we are wondering if you are planning to implement such a framework in the medium term and distribute it as build-in framework.
Yes, we know we could do that by our own. And for validation/transformation scenarios, CSS adjustments and so on, we will do that if necessary. But for more complex stuff like additional buttons and menus on the Author View we don't have much experience and it would be a learning-by-doing project.
So it would be very disappointing for our customer if they invest a lot of money in our development and later you would publish a professional framework as part of a new Oxygen release. That's why I'm asking...
Best Regards,
Nico

Re: Build-In Framework support for NISO STS
Hi Nico,
Right now we have no short/medium term plans to implement support for NISO STS.
We can help you with advice along the way, most Author actions can be implemented using the existing operations (one of them is an XSLTOperation which uses XSLT to make changes to content) without writing custom Java code:
