Expand Topicrefs in DITA Map View On DITA Map Load

I was able to use the sample https://github.com/oxygenxml/web-author ... ons-setter plugin to automatically display the DITA Map View when opening a DITA Map file.

However, the DITA Map is completely collapsed in the DITA Map View:

Is there a way to expand the DITA Map in the DITA Map View to at least the first child nodes, but ideally completely expand all nodes?

I've looked through the JavaScript API Reference (https://www.oxygenxml.com/maven/com/oxy ... index.html), but didn't see any methods or parameters related to the DITA Map View.

Hello,
We do not have a way to achieve this in your context, the DITA Map side-view was designed to be used when a topic from the map is being edited so it's location in the map is selected.
As you have opened a map the map itself is the root of the side-view so it is the one being focused so it is not expanded.

Would it be possible to request this feature for Web Author, or at least the ability to control which items are expanded in the DITA Map View? I think it would also be beneficial to always expand all nodes in the DITA Map, while also selecting/highlighting the topic currently being edited. So with a setting like this, we could open either a DITA topic or a DITA Map and the DITA Map View will show the completely expanded DITA Map in both cases.

Hello Daniel,
We already registered this feature request, I just forgot to mention this in my reply.
Once this becomes available we will update this thread.
As this is a corner case for this side-view we cannot estimate a time for its availability.
