X-refs to figures

HI, I am inserting a cross-reference to a figure element that has a title and then an image. The cross-reference, when published as PDF, comes out as "Figure XX:" I can't seem to add the tile of the image and also, if it is going to show the figure with its number in the publication, I don't want the colon to display. Oddly, in the topic where I am inserting the cross-ref in Oxygen, the cross-ref shows as the title of the image, it does not show the word "figure". or the number of the figure. When I tried to make the cross-reference to the title of the image, it did not work.

Hi,

The proper way is to cross reference to the <fig> element and not directly to the <title> inside the <fig> element.
If you are publishing from Oxygen you can edit the transformation scenario you are using and in the "Parameters" list there should be an "args.figurelink.style" parameter. Maybe you can try setting it to "TITLE".
