Cleaning up huge project (xpr) Lucene index files.
In looking to gain back a few GB on my hard drive, I discovered the huge amount of room occupied by the Lucene index files associated with some of my very large projects.
Some of these are for projects I probably will not touch again. Many for project files I no longer have on my hard drive. But collectively they're consuming 25GB (or more) of my 250GB drive. I need this space.
Is there a way to safely remove these from /Users/(username)/Library/Preferences/com.oxygenxml/lucene? Can I just delete them outright? Or is there a way through Oxygen to manage this type of project data?
Appreciate any help,
Simon

Re: Cleaning up huge project (xpr) Lucene index files.
Hi,
You can safely delete either individual folders (each is for a project) from:
/Users/(username)/Library/Preferences/com.oxygenxml/lucene
or even the entire lucene folder.
Make sure Oxygen isn't running when you do this.
If you want Oxygen to stop indexing the files from projects, go to Options > Preferences, Open/Find Resource and clear the box for "Enable searching in content".
Regards,
Adrian
