Converting Word to DITA using the Batch Converter Add On - WMFs
Hi,
I am converting Word documents to DITA XML for work. I am using the Batch Converter Add On. I have found that images originally of the .WMF file type do not convert correctly. Instead, the href to the image is assigned a value like "word/media/image#.wmf" and no corresponding image is converted over to the media folder.
My understanding is that DITA does not formally support the .WMF file type, but is there anything I can do to make the Batch Converter Add On convert the images correctly?
Thank you!

Hi,
Thank you for reporting this.
We did some changes in the Batch Documents Converter add-on for fixing the WMF images processing but we didn't make a release for this yet. If you send us an email to support@oxygenxml.com I can give you a beta kit of the add-on to try if it works properly on your case.
Best regards,
Cosmin
